historic decorgarden viewhelpful staff
i appreciated the historic pictures of ships and shipbuilding, detailing nelson's history. our glass-fronted room opened directly onto the garden, offering a lovely view. the breakfast selection was good with fresh choices. the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay.
One light wasn't working in the bathroom. Otherwise, the room was great!

the hotel's location was close to a beautiful walk along the river, a real gem! rhs wisley gardens were nearby, offering convenient access to a popular attraction. the area was well-kept and scenic.

The breakfast food selection met my expectations.
My room needed some attention. The net curtains were FILTHY, and the shower door was broken. Housekeeping only tidied the room three out of four days, so it was not hoovered and consumables were not replaced.

Leah greeted us upon arrival and her service remained consistently good. Our room, the coaching inn trafalgar room, offered historical charm. The four poster bed added character and the antique wardrobe enhanced the room's theme. I found a tea tray stocked well and appreciated the iron with ironing board in my room.
I noticed the restaurant was not busy during what i expected to be a peak time.

The roast dinner featured very tasty beef. The dining area was lovely, it contributed to a pleasant eating experience. I saw staff kept the area neat, and this made it more inviting to eat in.

West Horsley Place is a ten minute drive from the hotel. Polesdon Lacey is a twenty minute drive, it is convenient for day trips. The location is also convenient for RHS Wisley and Wimbledon Tennis events, i noted.
